Glas Italia 玻璃工廠於 1972 年成立，但在成立 Glas 品牌之前，Arosio 家族已經有超過半個多世紀做玻璃加工的經驗歷史，也是屬於義大利家族傳承的企業形態，目前經營的是第三代家族傳人。

Glas Italia 在玻璃的世界已超過只是玻璃製造工廠的定位，而是精品玻璃製造的龍頭老大代表，因此得到許多世界級知名設計師的青睞及合作

如：Philippe Starck,  Jean Nouvel ,  Nendo,  Nanda Vigo,  Patricia Urquiola,  Mario Bellini,  Piero Lissoni,  Jean-Marie Massaud .... 等三十多位國際頂尖設計師，一起合作開發設計產品，生產出的玻璃製品已不再只是玻璃.
